Before Your Treatment:
- For the best waxing results, please ensure your hair is at least 0.5 cm long.
- If you have been shaving, wait about 2 weeks so that all hairs reach the appropriate length for waxing.
- Avoid tanning or sun exposure 2–3 days before waxing, as this can make your skin more sensitive.
- Wear comfortable, cotton underwear and loose clothing to prevent friction on the skin.
- During menstruation, a tampon is required for waxing. Facial or body treatments are not performed at this time.
- If you are considering a facial or body treatment, I offer a free consultation before your first appointment to answer your questions and help choose the most suitable treatment.
- Waxing is possible during pregnancy; facial or body treatments are not recommended.
After Your Treatment:
Avoid factors that may irritate your skin:
- Fragranced cosmetics: Do not use strong perfumes, scented lotions, or shower gels on freshly waxed skin. Choose gentle, fragrance- and alcohol-free cleansers and moisturizers.
- Hot baths and showers: Hot water can increase skin sensitivity. Shower in lukewarm water and avoid rubbing your skin vigorously with a towel.
- Sauna, bathing, swimming: Avoid these as heat and chlorinated or salty water can cause irritation and increase the risk of infection.
Soothe your skin:
- Cooling: If your skin becomes red or tight, apply aloe vera gel or a panthenol-based cream to help speed up regeneration.
Wear breathable clothing:
- Avoid tight or abrasive fabrics (e.g., jeans or synthetic clothing). Choose loose, cotton garments that allow your skin to breathe.
